“Why do so many Americans want their own country to look bad?” asked Joe Pags.
“If you look at nearly all history books published before 2010, it’s almost the opposite of what you see today,” explained Flynn-Paul.
“Once BLM took on a certain amount of momentum, people were afraid to stand up. That idea was enough to force everyone into submission even if they knew what they were saying was not right,” he added.
“The idea of race wasn’t really invented until the late 18th century. The Europeans considered the Native Americans as the same skin color as themselves,” said the historian.
