Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz spoke with Joe Pagliarulo this week on the state of political discourse in America, telling the radio host he’s totally fine with offending people if it means telling the truth.
“You became a meme on Twitter yesterday. You spoke truth to power. When we see these videos of women pushing for more abortions, they generally aren’t runway models. You said what we all thought out loud,” said Pags.
“These people who show up and cheer on murder, they are the lowest form of protester. People who protest the environment, human rights, that’s one thing. But to show up because you believe in the destruction of life is just the worst,” explained Gaetz.
“When you’re that ugly on the inside, you’re ugly on the outside. I’m not afraid to say so,” he added.
