“We have a bill that we introduced that increases the mandatory minimum sentences for people charged with rape,” explained Luna. “People around the country are supporting this.”
“The biggest issue right now is the border. Am I right?” asked Pags. “What’s going to happen with the border between now and November?”
“Biden knows he’s getting hit on all sides, including his own party. They didn’t expect that. They might try and do something before the election. I don’t know much more than that. They know it’s an issue,” said the Congresswoman.
