Sheriff David Clarke weighed-in this week on America’s ongoing crime crisis, saying we’re now paying the price for liberal policing policies that date back to the early 2000s.
“These once-beautiful cities are crumbling under the weight of crime. Hundreds of people swarm these stores. How did we get here?” asked Pagliarulo.
“We took our foot of the gas and we allowed the Left to come up with some crazy ideas about policing,” explained Clarke.
“Conservatives and the GOP fell for it. We stopped doing the things that were working,” he added.
“We got tough on crime during the late 80s and early 90s. Ever since, we allowed the Left to drag us down a rabbit hole of being nice to criminals. We’re definitely paying the price for those policies now.”
