Entrepreneur and author Vivek Ramaswamy stopped by the Joe Pags Show this week to discuss why so many Americans are obsessed with playing the victim.
“Immigrants come to this country to pursue excellence. It used to be our national identity. I think it can be again,” explained the author.
“This isn’t the first time our culture has gone through similar problems. The American Experiment is not dead and over. But this victim culture is a cancer on our soul,” he added.
“We have people sitting here taking for granted that they were born here. They’re not taking advantage of it!” said Pagliarulo.
“People have convinced themselves they’re victims,” concluded Ramaswamy.

It is amazing how conservatives in America have claimed the mantle of victim. Former president trump (a self-described billionaire!) being the most victimized person ever, at least according to him. Hillary deserved to be “locked up” for her handling of sensitive documents, but trump is a victim of the FBI for his handling of the same type of documents. If trump wins an election, then the system works; if trump losses an election then he is the victim of a rigged system (he said before the 2016 AND the 2020 elections that the system was rigged against him “if I lose”). He was such a crybaby about possibly losing in 2020 that he said, “If I lose… I don’t know what I’m going to do. I will never speak to you again.” (Yet another lie, unfortunately.)
Possibly the worst example is the persecution complex of conservative christians in this country. They imagine embattled Christians fighting against entrenched secularist opposition. Anything that offends their perceived moral high-ground is seen as an attack on them personally. They fight for THEIR religious freedom, but lament when that EXACT SAME freedom is used by muslims and other religions. They proudly scream that everyone is working against them, even though they are the majority in America.
Conservatives, in general, have a sick fascination with being victimized. Y’all are a bunch of snowflakes. Grow up!
