Far-left leader Elizabeth Warren escalated her war-of-words with billionaire Elon Musk Thursday, bizarrely asserting that the businessman has no right to operate a BUSINESS he purchased earlier this year.
“I think that one human being should not decide how millions of people communicate with each other, and it doesn’t make any difference who that human being is. One human being should not be able to go into a dark room by himself and decide, ‘Oh, that person gets heard from, that person doesn’t.’ That’s not how it should work,” Warren told reporters at the Capitol.

Good afternoon, Mr Musk
limit the reach of a publication, ok. But limiting, preventing account-wide engagement indefinitely is unfair and arbitrary.— JC • O l i v e r. •🇧🇷 (@JC_Oliver69) November 19, 2022
Do people not see the inherent problem here? Twitter is either a privately-held company or it is a publicly-owned utility. There is no middle ground in our capitalist system. Sure, there are government regulations, but they can only do so much. And I think we all know how conservatives feel about regulations! Warren is right, in a certain sense. But this is the system we have in place. You either accept the form of capitalism we have, or you seize and nationalize the company. Which will only cause different problems. Besides, it is only a matter of time before twitter crashes and burn completely to the ground. Something else will take its place… more likely many somethings else. And the world will move on.
As far as the critique from jc oliver in the tweet above, that’s just more crybaby tears. If you don’t like the way twitter is run then start your own company and do better! Right?
