How quickly the tides turn, and Democrats will not admit it was their own doing. New York City Mayor Eric Adams is telling “leaders of major companies in the city it was time to get their workers back in offices, emphasizing that empty buildings are holding back the city’s pandemic recovery” reports Bloomberg.

Ironically, Adams said, “we can’t send mixed messages” which is exactly what liberal leadership has been doing in its repetitive hypocritical actions as well as their fear-mongering and overreach mandates and requirements.

It’s human psychology that one cannot go from panic to zero fear in an instant. This has been two straight years of bullying, mandates, government overreach and even lies. Nonetheless, Adams said, “we can’t keep kicking the can down the road.”

So we are to believe that suddenly, after two years of “kicking the can down the road” even the past few months with the Omicron variant that was severely less symptomatic, resulted in dramatically fewer hospitalizations and almost no deaths. Children are still wearing masks to school. Pharmaceutical companies are still telling everyone they must be boosted with a third and fourth shot.

But no, it’s the fault of the citizens for being hesitant to go back to any sort of normalcy. Bloomberg reports that “only 28% of workers are swiping into offices in the New York metro area, according to data from security company Kastle Systems as of Feb. 9.”

Adams said “it’s time to get back to work” and “the time frame is now.” He added, as if it’s any justification at all, “I’m going to work.” There’s not even any credibility left for Democrats who have been “making rules for thee but not for me.”

During even the heights of the pandemic liberals making the very mandates were seen in crowded spaces, parties and weddings despite telling everyone else who was not following their mandates and rules that they were literally killing people.
