MSNBC maniac Joy Reid continued to trash America’s Founding on her program this week, falsely claiming that “unmarried women” were “most likely burned as a witch” at the “original conception of this country.”

“If you go back to the original conception of this country … Melissa & I weren’t even people … Even women who were white were considered absolutely the property & ward of their husband … An unmarried woman was most likely to be burned as a witch,” Reid told her panel.

The biggest prosecution of alleged witches in North America occurred in Salem in 1692. 19 people were executed for practicing witchcraft by hanging, 14 women and five men.
