Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton sat down with MSNBC’s Willie Geist to totally unironically discuss what wins elections. The former Secretary of State shared concerns about party infighting, lack of a cohesive platform, and the absence of an electoral strategy that appeals to folks beyond deep-blue districts.
She also appears to take shots at the progressive wing of her party.

“I think that it is a time for some careful thinking about what wins elections, and not just in deep-blue districts where a Democrat and a liberal Democrat, or so-called progressive Democrat, is going to win,” Clinton said. “I understand why people want to argue for their priorities. That’s what they believe they were elected to do.”
“I’m all about having vigorous debate,” Clinton continues. “I think it’s good, and it gives people a chance to be part of the process. But, at the end of the day it means nothing if we don’t have a Congress that will get things done, and we don’t have a White House that we can count on to be sane and sober and stable and productive.”
Democrats managed to pass the trillion-dollar infrastructure bill earlier this year, but couldn’t stick the landing on President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda. Couple that with Biden’s terrible approval numbers, a botched Afghanistan withdrawal, unchecked inflation, and spiking COVID numbers —it’s no wonder Clinton is worried about a red wave come midterms.
Clinton also offered her thoughts on whether or not we’ve seen the last of Donald Trump.
“If I were a betting person, I’d say Trump is going to run again,” Clinton says. “If he’s not held accountable and he gets to do it again, I think that could be the end of our democracy.”

I will not listen to politicians who talk about accountability when they are never made accountable for the long list of their criminal acts and own up to their failures. It is so ridiculous to watch this craggy old pot call the kettle black.
The history of the United States is filled with corrupt politicians who never saw a jail but history records them for the scoundrels and criminals that they were. The Clinton and Biden families names will be forever disgraced.. maybe not in Hillary’s lifetime, but her daughter and grandchildren will “feel the pain” of being the offspring of Bill and Hill in theirs.
The dysfunction of the Democrat Party is a result of their corrupting the process to the point where crazies from the far left wing could manipulate their way into power with money from extremists like George Soros. For example, remember all the Chinese money that came to the Clinton campaign through that little man…in California I believe? It was back in the 80’s and really showed how there are no limits to the greed and power grabs some people would encourage.
If it means the absolute termination of your vision for “our democracy”, then LET FREEDOM RING!
It may be more important today to focus on the major donors who support candidates who will serve as members of Congress and POTUS b/c the official purposes of the Democrat and Republican Parties have shifted over time based the preferences citizens and major donors. .Eg , between 1980 through 2008, the Democrat Party represented nationalism , the unions, minorities and small businesses. But, As of 2008 this Party’s agenda for the election of its candidates for a Potus and members of Congress switched to representing the interests of its larger donors such as Wall Street and multinational corporations that favor a globalist form of government which should require either amending Our National Constitution or engaging in election fraud if the majority sf American citizens remain nationalists.
Both she and Trump need to ride off into the sunset. Trump did some great things, but we don’t need him again. He is great at raising money and in some cases campaigning which the party needs.
It is time for someone to genuinely try to bring the country together.
She lost 2 elections. How can she advise how to win elections? It is really tiring to continue to hear untruths about Trump and Republicans. Again she doesn’t talk about any issues, same as last time.
I can not believe that Hillary Clinton is still able to stand without a drink in her hand.
Why anyone would ever entertain listening to her diatribe is beyond belief.
And-her giving advise on ‘winning’ elections is really icing on the cake.
