Former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker addressed America’s growing crime crisis Wednesday, saying radical prosecutors are partially to blame for the disturbing trend in liberal cities across the country.

“I didn’t think that prosecutors had this much discretion. I didn’t know they can just ignore crimes. That’s what’s happening in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles,” said Joe Pags.

“Ultimately, there is some ability for prosecutors to make decisions, but they shouldn’t be on an individual basis. They should be on the best use of resources. Right now, they’re using discretion to undo historically bad outcomes in the Justice System. It’s ridiculous,” explained Whitaker.

“If it’s a Conservative, they’ll throw the book at them,” he added.
