“You’ve got the biggest district on the border. It’s your job to represent the people experiencing this every single day,” said Pags.
“I’m 80 miles from the border right now. There are all these second-tier communities that are impacted the same as those on the border. They have high-speed chases in their town every single day,” explained Gonzales.
“Everyone has been sucked up into this crisis. People are dying. Kids in school are being put in lockdown,” he added.
